Amboseli national park is a truly special place not only its vast population of over 2000 elephants but also one of the longest running elephant research projects in the world, offers a rare and meaningful opportunity for me,My mother has dedicated over 30 years to studying those magnificent creatures, has played a crucial role in the ongoing research in the park, being able to visit and witness her life’s work firsthand would not only allow me to reconnect with her, but it would also deepen my understanding and appreciation for those animals and their conservation.seeing the elephant up close while learning from my mother’s deep knowledge and experience would make for an unforgettable journey.

Details Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival & First game drive

Morning : Arrive in Amboseli (flight 50mins or drive from Nairobi 4 hours) and check in a Oltukai lodge.Enjoy a welcome drink and settle into your rooms with stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Afternoon : Lunch at the lodge,followed by relaxation by the pool or in the lounge.

Evening : First evening game drive at 4:00pm -0630pm. spot elephants,Lions,Cheetah, antelopes and more as the sun sets over the park.

Night : Dinner at Oltukai lodge and optional stargazing or a Cultural talk about Maasai community.
Day 2 Safari & Cultural Experience
- Early Morning :Sunrise game drive at 0600 am to 0900am for the best wildlife sightings including Elephants against the backdrop of Kilimanjaro.
- Mid-day : Return to the lodge for breakfast and relaxation. optional visit to a nearby Maasai village to experience their culture and traditions or Visit Craig the remaining Big tusker in Amboseli.
- Afternoon : Lunch at oltukai lodge,followed by leisure time or lecture at elephant research camp.
- Evening : Another game drive 0400pm -0630pm optional for sundowner at observation hill.
- Late morning departure for next destination.
